Help the Library

Donate to the Library!

The city of Riddle has been extremely supportive by providing the building, utilities, maintenance, and insurance. We have applied for and received some grant funding for specific needs, but grants will not pay for many of the services we wish to provide the community. Your financial gift would be most welcome! There is a donation box in the library, or you can participate in our fundraisers or contribute through the website. We are a 501(c)3 Non-Profit Organization, all donations are tax deductible. Book donations are welcome as well. Please contact us if you have any questions about what we accept. Our Federal Tax ID number is: #82-1818506.

BottleDrop!

Have some bottles or cans you want to get rid of? We take them! Just grab a blue BottleDrop bag at the Riddle City Library, fill it with refundable aluminum, plastic or glass, and bring it back. We'll take it to the Roseburg Recycle Center to be recycled, and you'll support your local library with the proceeds.

Volunteer at the Library!

Willing volunteers who believe in the importance of books, education, and libraries are encouraged to step forward with your gifts of time, enthusiasm and dedication. These are what make a real difference in our community. Volunteers are a valuable resource. We couldn’t operate the library without them!

If you are interested in making a valuable impact please ask how you may be able to serve either in person, or from home for a few hours each week. Each volunteer should recognize that there is an obligation to provide service within the guidelines and policy of Riddle City Library. A background check is the preliminary for those over the age of 16. There are opportunities for younger volunteers as well. We’d love to welcome you to our team.
