Summer Reading Program 2025!

We are excited to be launching our 2025 summer reading program schedule, which will kick off on June 12th! The theme this year is Color Our World. What colorful things will you create this summer? We have events planned for kids, teens, and adults this year!

2025 Children's Program Schedule
June 12th

• 12:00 – Program signups begin (all day)
• 1:00 – Meet some amazing animals right here at the library, courtesy of Wildlife Safari!

June 19th

• 1:00 – Learn about Oregon history by meeting a mountain trapper, brought to you by Singing Creek Educational Center!
  

June 26th

• 1:00 – Bugs-R-Us will bring the biggest live bugs you've ever seen to the library!
  

July 3rd

• 1:00 – Test your agility with the library's very own obstacle course!
  

July 10th

• 1:00 – Create your own colorful tie-dye creations with Victoria Carnate! (This is both a children's and teens' event)
  

July 17th

• 1:00 – Explore colors by inventing your own eye-catching clay creations with air-dry clay!
  

July 24th

• 1:00 – Bergin College of Canine Studies will be teaching kids about service dogs with demonstrations (kids might even get to read with a dog)!
  

July 31st

• 1:00 – Rock painting! Reading awards! Don't miss it!

2025 Teens' Program Schedule
June 12th

• 12:00 – Program signups begin (all day)

June 24th

• 1:00 – Use your imagination to decorate an artistic flower pot and plant herb seeds in it!
  

July 10th

• 1:00 – Create your own colorful tie-dye creations with Victoria Carnate! (This is both a children's and teens' event)

2025 Adult Program Schedule
June 12th

• 12:00 – Program signups begin (all day)

August 12th

• 6:00 – Have a toe-tapping good time with Joe Ross, who will be playing old-fashioned tunes!
  

August 19th

• 6:00 – Pre-registration required, sign up here. The Master Food Preservers will be providing a demonstration on using food dehydrators to maximize your food-saving power!
  

 August 26th

• 6:00 – Carole Nielson will be giving a historical talk on stories from the Oregon Trail!
